the third x ray album was a decent effort for its time ( i forgot weather this came out in 1985 or 86??) regardless x ray seemed to be hitting the keyboards harder on this album then the first two but the outstanding guitar playing is still there to be heard and the keyboards dont drown out the guitar playing like they did on the third blizzard record for example, if my memory is correct i think this one even got a uk release so x ray was trying to broaden there horizons to the west but lacked english so that did not help, it was great to listen to this again for i dont think i have heard shout since 1986 27 years ago so i had actually forgot what it sounded like, this x ray release really was no different then what other japanese hard rock and hm bands where doing in 1985, the only exception would be loudness, by 1984/85 loudness tried to cater to the us and europe so they sounded a bit more raw then this, if you liked the first two x ray albums then i think you will like this one but you will hear the difference...........
