[Machine Translation] [Toho DVD Masterpiece Selection] Tomorrow is a vanishing life! A beautiful young wife who became a martyr for her eternal love. Director Hideo Suzuki depicts a couple torn apart by the Pacific War. This romantic drama also impresses with its powerful battle scenes created by Eiji Tsuburaya. --Toshiro (Koji Tsuruta), a reserve navy student, is a member of a suicide squadron. His girlfriend Teruko (Kaoru Yachigusa) wants to marry him, but Toshiro has no intention of doing so because he does not know how long he will live. However, after experiencing the deaths of his comrades in arms and air raids, Toshiro decides to marry Teruko. One day, Toshiro took the controls of a suicide plane in place of his comrades who were unable to go into battle due to appendicitis. Enemy fighter planes appear in front of the suicide squadron as they head for the enemy ship, and a fierce dogfight ensues, with Toshiro's plane having its wings shot off... This is the first DVD release.
