However, her agency's sleazy manager harbors vile intentions. After being harassed by a stalker, Sakura is rescued by Shinobu Sumida, a man who failed to realize his dream of becoming a film director, and who also happens to be her fan. Sakura confides that her agency restricts her part-time work and she is so financially strained she can't pay rent. She's even considering quitting the gravure world altogether. Determined to help her keep chasing her dream, Shinobu pledges to support her rise to stardom. He then invites her to move into the share house he lives in with a photographer's assistant friend, and suddenly finds himself sharing a home with his idol. But awaiting them are the manager's schemes, sexual harassment, and the many twisted dealings of the industry. Thus begins a dangerous romantic comedy about a pure-hearted girl chasing her dreams and a hopeless man trying to protect her, both lost in the chaotic world of gravure.
