神尾楓珠主演! 吹奏楽部の絆が生んだ希望と感動の実話。20年という短い人生を全力で駆け抜けた、音楽を愛した一人の青年の物語であり、また彼を愛した家族、そして彼が師と仰ぐ先生や仲間との「絆」の物語。主演の神尾楓珠ほか、福本莉子、佐野晶哉 (Aぇ! group/関西ジャニーズJr.) ら人気若手俳優に加え、佐藤浩市、尾野真千子など実力派俳優がアンサンブルを奏でる。監督は、「特命係長 只野仁」シリーズ、「陽はまた昇る」など数多くのドラマを手がけた秋山純。脚本は、原作者でもある中井由梨子。――浅野大義は市立船橋高校吹奏楽部に所属する男の子。担当はトロンボーン。活発で優しく、そして真っすぐな大義は、いつも周囲を明るく照らし、そして大義自身も部員たちに支えられ、青春を謳歌していた。なにより特別な存在である顧問・高橋健一先生に大きな影響を受け、心身共に成長していった。大義は、市船・野球部のために、オリジナル応援曲の作曲に挑戦。作曲の難しさに葛藤しながらも 高橋先生からの叱咤激励や親友・佐伯斗真の助け、母・桂子の応援もあり「市船soul」が誕生する。そして、いざ試合で演奏されるとたちまち得点を呼ぶ"神応援曲"と呼ばれる様になる。高校を卒業した大義は、高橋先生の様な教師を志し音楽大学へ進学、夢に向かってキャンパスライフを過ごしていた。そんなある日、大義の身体を異変が襲う。診察の結果、大義の身体は癌に侵されていた――。豪華版は、メイキング、イベント集 (製作報告舞台挨拶/完成披露舞台挨拶/公開前夜祭/初日舞台挨拶)を収録した特典ディスク(DVD)付き。リーフレット封入。
