    Asterisk Single 4

This is a nice single by Orange Range. Along with the "Bleach" intro, there are two other original songs by the group. A nice buy! Wish it had more stuff on there, though!

    Well worth it. 4

When I first listened to this cd, I wasn't sure if I liked it or not. The different versions of the "Bleach" theme I had to listen to a couple of times before I decided I liked it. All in all this cd was well worth it!

    Great lyrics, great single. 4

Everything from the lyrics to the music is wonderful in the first song from the Asterisk single. Miageta yozora no hoshi tachi no hikari...who couldn't love those lyrics? The song has a catchy beat and a wonderful tune. However, I don't think Mission in Taisakusen and Spiral, other songs in the single, were quite up to par. Mission in Taisakusen just seems like an average-quality rapped song. The sound effects were kinda cool, though, and it's easy to listen to. Spiral also had cool sound effects, but to me, it just seemed boring, rather than upbeat. Also, it's rather long! It is easy to listen to, though, once you get past the first thirty seconds. The Romantic Version of Asterisk was pretty. It really is nothing more than the words of Asterisk spoken aloud...and set to background music, but the background music is really pretty, and it's mostly the same music as the normal version of Asterisk. It's more of a song where you listen to the lyrics than the music, so if you don't understand Japanese, for example, you might not enjoy it as much as is intended. The lyrics are beautiful, though, so if you haven't already found a tranlation, you should look at one as you listen.
