あのランディ・ローズがオジー参加以前に結成・在籍していた、伝説のHMバンド、クワイエット・ライオットのベスト盤。1975年結成。1st、2ndは評価されず一度解散。ランディはオジー・バンドへ参加。天才ギタリストとして将来を約束されていたランディは、飛行機事故のため1982年3月19日死去。その後の通算3枚目のアルバム1983年発表『メタル・ヘルス』が全米で600万枚の大ブレイク、なんとHM/HR勢で初となる全米アルバム・チャート1位+同週にシングル「カモン・フィール・ザ・ノイズ」のTOP5シングル・ヒットという快挙を成し遂げた(「メタル・ヘルス」もシングルヒット)。1984年『コンディション・クリティカル』発表。「クレイジー・ママ」「パーティー・オール・ナイト」が大ヒット。1986年通算5作目のアルバム『QRIII』発表。その後も活動は続けている。CD-EXTRA仕様(デジタル・ブックレットをPDFファイルで収録。曲目リスト、楽曲クレジット、解説:英文ライナー訳、アーティスト写真、ウォール・ペーパー、他)。
