Damn Good 5

I like it, with Kyo voice that made the difference with the others J-Rock group. I like the way they are, i haven't seen any shows like that here, in Canada, because it's a little too much for most of the peoples here, well me I do like it.

I absolutely loved this DVD. I can't stop watching it. I really think anyone who adores Dir en grey's concerts as much as I do should get it if they don't already have it.

This concert is awesome, it had most of my favorite songs in it and the bands performance was as allways perfect. it is a very entretaining concert to watch for all Diru fans

I'M NOT EVEN TRYING TO JUSTIFY MYSELF! 5

I was very excited when this DVD finally found its way into my mailbox. Excitedly, I opened it and played it right away and I loved it from the very beginning.

Being an appreciator of all Dir En Grey's work, especially the louder songs, I wasn't disappointed. True, Kyo skips a few vocals parts which I missed, and somewhere in the middle he seems to have a bit of trouble during the two softer songs from Withering To Death, but the rest was brilliant. CLEVER SLEAZOID (The single version) kicks off the gig quite nicely, followed by a lot of killer tracks such as OBSCURE, audience KILLER LOOP, Merciless Cult, Kodoku ni Shisu Yueni Kodoku, Child Prey, Garbage and more. I was slightly disappointed by the version of -saku-, which was lacking some samples/vocals and just didn't have the raw power the album version has.

The outfits they wore were decent. I especially enjoyed Toshiya's seemingly feminine shirt. His bassplay is top-notch as well, and being a bassplayer myself, I was extremely interested in it. Kaoru and Die do their masterfully skilled parts grandly, and Shinya never misses a beat. <3

The cameras are a little quick, but I recommend this!

Direngrey equals LOVE 5

This dvd is excellent in every sense of the word. The picture and audio are of course superb. Dir en grey as always gives and amazing performance. Very enjoyable video most definitely worth the watch! buy it and i swear you wont regret it!!

Wither, wither, wither... 4

'RETTOU GEKISHIN ANGYA' and 'THE CODE OF VULGAR[ism]' were two really great DVDs that blew me away completely. Unfortunately 'It Withers and Withers' falls short on the mark.

This was recorded at the end of the tour and the band seem somewhat tired. Even though they have an incredibly enthusiastic audience, they never really take off and Kyo's having problems with his voice which seems to frustrate him a lot. His emotions come out loud and clear though.

They're playing really well and powerful, but it felt a little disjointed, none the least because of the editing which didn't make it feel like they were together on the stage. Most attention was on Kyo, no harm in that, but I couldn't feel the others' presence.

This sounds like I'm completely bashing it, but it's really not bad at all. I was just expecting too much and with such great previous live DVDs, I was hoping this would be their best. It's still a must for fans!

Kyo's performance of HIGEKI HA MABUTA WO OROSHITA YASASHIKI UTSU needs to be mentioned though, it's really the highlight of the DVD! And I liked CLEVER SLEAZOID a lot too. Wither, wither, wither...

hey dir en grey fans, this is worth buying, sure limited edition is better but hey this is still worth buying also, its good, camera views are excellent, this is a must buy if you are a fan!!!!! ^_^

The best Dir en grey live DVD 4

I bought the 3-disc limited version of this DVD, but my disc 1 is the same thing of this regular edition, so believe me when I say this is their best concert.
Kyo has some problems with his voice, but most of time he's able to do an OK job. The band is giving 100% on their performance from the moment they step on stage to the moment they leave it.
A "must have" for every fan of the aggressive Dir en grey.

REGULAR EDITION IS GREAT TOO! 5

If you can't afford the 3 disc version, don't feel bad. This one disc is worth it! The performance is so powerful the way they express the meaning of the Withering to Death album. And after they finish with the WTD songs, they finish it off with high energy Vulgar and Six Ugly songs in the style of Code of Vulgarism. This is the culmination of everything Dir en grey has been trying for so far. Essential.

SACD (Super Audio CD)

SACDs are playable only on SACD players, and will not play on regular CD players. On the other hand, SACD Hybrid disc has a layer that is playable also on regular CD payers. Such titles are indicated as "Format: SACD-Hybrid" in item details page.
