ICON [CD + DVD]

A cover song CD by Genki Iwahashi is released for the first time, and "ICON" is a live series hosted by Iwahashi that, based on his wish to convey to many people the greatness of the history of Japanese idols that has changed with the times up to the present, expresses respect for idols as an artist, and in addition to his own original songs he has been fascinating the audience by performing cover songs of idol songs from various eras with performances that follow the original choreography, and in this work nine cover songs that have been performed so far in "ICON" are recorded in the studio as "ICON" special versions on the CD, and thirty three performances are recorded from the footage of the first performance "ICON 24" held in Tokyo and Hyogo in June 2024 and the second performance "ICON 25" held in July 2025, and it is a two disc set of CD + DVD with bonus footage including the cover song "King & Prince, Queen & Princess" performed in "GENKI IWAHASHI TOUR 2023 'I'm A Popstar'" and backstage footage of "ICON 25".

岩橋玄樹初のカバーソングCDリリース! 『愛魂-icon-』は岩橋が主催するライブシリーズ。時代とともに移り変わりながら今に至る日本のアイドルの歴史を振り返り、そのすばらしさをたくさんの方々に伝えたいという岩橋の思いのもと、"アーティスト"として"アイドル"へのリスペクトを表現している。自身のオリジナル楽曲のほか、さまざまな時代のアイドル曲のカバーを披露し、本家の振り付けを踏襲したパフォーマンスで観客を魅了してきた。本作では『愛魂-icon-』でこれまでに披露されたカバー楽曲から、"愛魂-icon-"スペシャルバージョンとしてスタジオ録音した全9曲がCDに収録される。そして、2024年6月に東京・兵庫の2箇所で開催した第一回公演の『愛魂-icon-24』、2025年7月開催の第二回公演『愛魂-icon-25』の映像から全33曲のパフォーマンスを収録。CD+DVDの2枚組で、特典映像には、『GENKI IWAHASHI TOUR 2023 "I'm A Popstar"』で披露されたカバー曲「King & Prince, Queen & Princess」、『愛魂-icon-25』のバックステージ映像も収録される。
