ジョン・レノンを救いたい・・・ジョン・レノン・トリビュート。～絶対あり得ないと思っていること、それが本当にあり得ないかどうか誰が決めるの?～ 今年はアーティスト、ジョン・レノンの没後30年。去年(2009年)の12月8日から『ジョン・レノンへの招待状 』というイベントが、主に下北沢にて開催されている。アーティスト・近藤金吾を中心に、主旨に賛同した何人ものアーティストが、今まで回を重ねてきたこのイベントに参加している。毎回、それぞれの出演者が《ジョン・レノンを救いたい》という想いを込めて作ってきた曲を、あの、1980年12月8日に向けて歌う。そして、その歌声が音楽の波動となって時空を超えて、なぜかちゃんと30年前のジョンに届いて・・・。2010年12月8日、無事にあの事件を逃れ、70才になったジョンが、アーティストたちの送った"招待状"を手にライブ会場に現れるという・・・。ミラクル&ファンタジーな話だが、誰もが99.9999%ダメだと分かっていても、0.0001%の可能性を信じて、回を重ねていっている。さらに今年12月8日に実施予定の『ジョン・レノンへの招待状』FINALイベントの招待状を、主催者(近藤金吾)より、10月9日にジョンへのバースデーカードと一緒にオノヨーコさんに送らせて頂く予定。はたして参加アーティスト達はジョン・レノンを救えるのか?!
