ギタリスト渡辺のりおの呼びかけにより1996年に結成されたバンド「drunken fish」。今年で結成27周年を迎える。メンバーは、リーダー・渡辺のりお(g)、ダニー・シュエッケンディック(p,kb)、加藤雅史(b)、夏目純(ds)、ルベン・フィゲロア(per)で、いずれも中部地区を代表するミュージシャンである。結成以来メンバーチェンジなく活動してきた希少なバンドであるがゆえに、各メンバーが互い理解し合い、熟練したサウンドを奏でている。楽曲の多くは、渡辺のりお(g)、ダニー・シュエッケンディック(key)の作品で、そのサウンドはジャズ、ブルース、フュージョン、ラテンなどが渾然一体となったオリジナリティー溢れる楽曲。多くのファンに支持されている。2023年8月に17年ぶりとなるニューアルバム「The Willin' Way」を全国リリース。
