LEISURE [Special/Limited Edition] [2CD/Import Disc]

[Machine Translation] To celebrate the 21st anniversary of its original release, Blur's debut album "Leisure" has been remastered for the first time. The remastering from the original tapes was done by Frank Arkwright (who has worked with The Smiths, Arcade Fire, New Order, Joy Division, etc.) and supervised by legendary producer Stephen Street, who also worked on the original recordings. The "Leisure Special Edition" includes a bonus disc of newly mastered B-side tracks from all singles released during the "Leisure" period. It includes Blur's hidden gems, alternate mixes, remixes, and live tracks (including the only recorded version of "Day Upon Day"), as well as the demo of "I Love Her" and "Claus," a rare song that was only available as a Blur fan club single.

初リリースから21周年を記念して、ブラーのデビュー・アルバム『レジャー』がこの度初のリマスター化。オリジナル・テープからのリマスタリングを担当したのは、(ザ・スミス、アーケイド・ファイア、ニュー・オーダー、ジョイ・ディヴィジョンらの作品を手掛けてきた)フランク・アークライトで、オリジナル盤を手掛けた伝説的プロデューサーのスティーヴン・ストリートが監修を務めている。今回の『レジャー・スペシャル・エディション』には、『レジャー』期にリリースされた全シングルの全B面曲を新たにマスタリングして1枚に収めたボーナス・ディスクが付属。ブラーの隠れた良曲や、別ミックス、リミックス、(記録に残っている「デイ・アポン・デイ」の唯一の音源を含む)ライヴ・トラックに加え、「アイ・ラヴ・ハー」のデモ、そしてブラーのファンクラブ・シングルとしてのみ入手可能だったレア曲「クロース」などが含まれている。
