[Machine Translation] Cage The Elephant, a rock band from Kentucky, USA, releases their long-awaited new album, their first in 5 years! This is their first album since "Social Cues", which won the Grammy Award for Best Rock Album in 2019. They were formed in 2005 by brothers Matt Schultz ( vocal ) and Brad Schultz ( rhythm guitar ) from Kentucky, USA, Daniel Tichenor ( bass ) and Jared Champion ( drums ), and since 2019, they are officially members of Nick Bockrath ( lead guitar ) and Mazzan Minter ( keyboards ) joined the band. The lead track "Neon Pill", with the same name as the album title, is a typical indie rock track from 2024, with their characteristic lo-fi sound, tight drums, and reverbed guitars. The second single "Out Loud" is a rare piano-driven ballad, second only to "Cigarette Daydream" from "Melophobia"!

米ケンタッキー州出身のロック・バンド=Cage The Elephant (ケイジ・ジ・エレファント)、5年ぶりとなる待望のニュー・アルバムをリリース!! 2019年のグラミー賞で最優秀ロック・アルバムを受賞した『Social Cues』以来の作品となる。彼らは2005年に米ケンタッキー州出身のマット・シュルツ (vocal) とブラッド・シュルツ (rhythm guitar) の兄弟、ダニエル・ティチェナー (bass)、ジャレッド・チャンピオン (drums) のメンバーで結成され、2019年からは正式メンバーとしてニック・ボックラス (lead guitar)、マッザン・ミンスター (keyboards) が加入した。アルバム・タイトルと同名のリード・トラック「Neon Pill」は彼らの特徴的なローファイなサウンド、タイトなドラムにリヴァーブのかかったギターが散りばめられた、2024年のインディー・ロックを代表するトラックとなっている。セカンド・シングル「Out Loud」は彼らには珍しくピアノをメインとしたバラード、『Melophobia』収録の「Cigarette Daydream」に次ぐ名バラード曲!
