This enka project album features these two songs, "Enka Nagashi Uta" released in June 1972, and 18 enka songs that Kayama loves and always sings at karaoke on the Koushin Maru.

数十年前に加山雄三 (弾厚作)が光進丸で演歌曲を作詞作曲した。その1曲の「嘘よ」を2017年9月に前川清がリリースし、もう1曲の「残り酒」は八代亜紀がリリースすることが決定。この2曲を中心に、1972年6月発売の「演歌流し唄」からと、加山が好きで、いつも光進丸のカラオケで歌う18番の演歌楽曲を新録しての演歌企画アルバム。
