neolog Suzumiya haruhi no Tsumeawase - TV Anime The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya Gekichu Kashu Single 5

Since I saw the episode When Haruhi sing these songs I knew that those songs needed to be in my collection. The music and the letters of the song are great.

One of the best soundtracks of the best episodes of one of the best anime ever

Of course this is a must have!!!

Haruhi Rocks! 5

Aya Hirano is a very talented and versatile seiyuu. Her performance in singing both "God Knows" and "Lost my Music" were the highlights ofwhat was already a brilliant episode of the series. Miss Hirano has an incredible ability to project her voice in these songs, while remaining in the voice of her character, which is considerably different to what I've heard of her everyday speaking voice. In addition to keeping her voice in character, she keeps both the pace and mood of the song in their intended spirit. These two songs are very good rock songs in their own right; catchy riffs and lead licks on the intro and bridge; my only gripe is the "Lost my Music" solo is a bit over the top, but that's more there to illustrate Nagato Yuki's incredible shredding ability ^^.

The final track is one that makes many a Haruhi fan cringe, but they cannot help but applaud Yuko Goto's deliberately bad performance in the song. It's one thing to sing bad; it's another to do so deliberately, and Miss Goto brings across her character's frightened and impromptu theme song performance for a high school video very well.

Definitely a must buy for the fans of the series.

Awesome! 5

This CD Includes both songs from the concert shown in the episode "Live a Live" (God Knows.. & Lost My Music) and the hilarious "Koi no Mikuru Densetsu" opening from the episode "Asahina Mikuru no Bouken".

Even non-fans will be able to recognize the quality in these songs; even "Koi no Mikuru Densetsu" is a great example of how to make an intentionally "bad" song.

All in all, a great CD.

Includes a double sided mini-poster featuring the cover and backcover of this CD.

A must have for any Anime Fan 5

The songs from Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu. Fantastic and very pleasing to listen. A must get for all fans of this anime. Comes with a open up booklet that can also be use as a poster

Great single... 5

Contains the best songs in the anime. "God knows" and "Lost in music" are just superb and "Koi no Mikuru Densetsu" adds a nice comical touch to the single. Even if you didn't think the anime was groundbreaking this single is easly worth purchasing.

A bunny girl... 5

The song "God Knows" is a drug. On our way to Otakon, my group and I had 12h to go and listened to this song and Black Lagoon's Op (Red Fraction from MELL) countless times.
It kept us signing for hours on end. I'm pretty sure God Knows it one thing that helped make the trip so enjoyable.
Also, "Koi no Mikuru Densetsu"... is something one must hear at least once.

A remarkable performance by Aya Hirano 5

Aya Hirano is now officially one of my favorite music artist. I liked her first two songs on the two previously released Haruhi cd releases a lot but I absolutely loved her songs on this single. The range that she can demonstrate with her voice is astounding! In the song "God Knows...", her singing become strong and alto in sound as she serenades the listener to a mid-tempo rock beat. Let me just say that she will leave a great lasting impression with this song that you would more than happy to carry with you. The song rocks. Period. In the song "Lost my music", a fairly fast-tempo rock song, she brings her voice back up from the sultry hard rock deva sound to more whimsical sound of Haruhi that we are familiar with. But the song is still just as rockin as the first. The final song, "Koi no Mikuru Densetsu", can be summed up in one word, hilarous. This song originally aired with the very first episode of the show to accompany the amateur student film the S.O.S. dan made as a spoof on magical girl animes. Mikuru's nervousness is ever present as she belts out this, train wreck but gut bustingly funny, theme song. You simply must hear it understand fully what I'm talking about.
