I have been a fan of Chie Horiguchi for a number of years. This album does definitely not disappoint. Chie is a very talented singer, songwriter and guitarist plus a show stopping performer. For this project she gathered together The Desperado Gentleman a perfectly hand picked ensemble to put together what I call Japanese Americana and it is the perfect fusion.
