ジャパニーズ都市伝説がロサンゼルスを襲撃! 世界20ヶ国39映画祭で上映! 全世界注目のジャパニーズホラーが日本逆上陸!! いまだアメリカでは実写化されていない日本の都市伝説ホラーを日本的な恐怖描写を視覚的巧みに取り入れ4人の日本人が監督した作品。口裂け女以外にもこっくりさん、陰陽師、幽霊などの日本のキャラクターが登場し、一方で西洋ホラーのゾンビや悪魔も描かれている。またアニメオタク、メイドカフェ、ゲーム、日本食などの日本文化の描写もあり、このようなオリジナルストーリーで日本の都市伝説ホラーをアメリカで現地キャストを起用し、日本人が監督するというのは例を見ない新たな試みである。ゆうばり国際ファンタスティック映画祭2015 招待作品。 ――口裂け女の噂が広まるロサンゼルス市。ある日、クレアは友人のモニカを口裂け女に殺されてしまう。以後、口裂け女の悪夢にうなされるクレアだったが、都市伝説研究者である姉のサラが口裂け女ではないかと感じはじめる。一方、サラは時々幻覚を見ているクレアこそが口裂け女の正体ではないかと疑い出すが、やがて口裂け女だけではなく、こっくりさん、ゾンビ、幽霊などによる事件も起こりはじめる。
