Shigeharu Sasago and Geren Oshima, two artists who have been inspired by Okinawa for more than 30 years, have created original songs with their feelings for Okinawa. The long-awaited second album by the songwriting project Jusu ("recite": an ancient Japanese word meaning "to speak"), in which vocalist Makiko Miyara from Ishigaki Island sings these songs, is now available! Following the first album, iconic Okinawan artist Mutsu Minoru Naga provided the cover art for the album. The "Blooming Beach" used for this album was created in 1993, and the world depicted in the artwork surprisingly corresponds to each of the songs on the album. Incidentally, Mr. Naka is also the godfather of the artist name Geren Oshima.

美しくも切ない島々の情景、情けに厚い人々、滋味深い料理と極上の島酒、そして、豊かな民謡の世界。優に30年以上にわたって沖縄にインスパイアされ続けてきた2人のアーティスト、笹子重治とゲレン大嶋が、沖縄への思いを込めてオリジナル曲を創作。それらを石垣島出身のヴォーカリスト、宮良牧子が歌う歌作りプロジェクト、ジュス (誦す: 古語で「くちずさむ」の意味)が、待望のセカンド・アルバムをリリース! ファースト・アルバムに続いて、カバー・アートには、沖縄のアイコニックな美術家、名嘉睦稔氏が版画作品を提供。本作に使用した『咲き乱れる浜』は1993年に制作されたものだが、そこに描かれた世界は、驚くほどこのアルバムに収録された一つ一つの楽曲と呼応している。ちなみに名嘉氏は、ゲレン大嶋というアーティスト・ネームの名付け親でもある。
