Origins

[Machine Translation] A piano that seems to slip between the artificial and the random, a guitar with its unique tuning and rhythm, and a melody that gently nestles in the gaps between these seemingly ungraspable sounds. This is a collection of small pieces by two musicians from Northern Germany and the Northeast, who have exchanged sound news over time since their collaboration in 2019. Here is a scene that lies between all kinds of boundaries. Guest musicians include Mami Kakudo (voice) and other musicians who are close friends of the two. Finally, a collaboration work by Tobias Wilden and Yudai Suzuki is completed. They will collaborate with painter Kayo Nomura on live paintings and present "Spring Haze" in 2019. Tobias Wilden's delicate yet dynamic compositions on guitar, piano, and cello are overlaid by Yudai Suzuki's gentle and intuitive melodies on flugelhorn, zink, and other instruments. In addition, Mami Kakudo (voice), Mayuko Ishikawa (flute), and Takayoshi Niimura (violin) participate as guests. While each of them breathes in harmony with the sound played by the other, differences in the way they perceive time and scenery cause the songs to unfold progressively. The music is a journey to the abyss of the world that is being discarded, with sounds that contain fluctuations and distortions.

作為と無作為の間をすり抜けていくようなピアノ、独特なチューニングとリズムのギター、その掴めそうで掴めない音の隙間にそっと寄り添うメロディー。北ドイツと北東北、2019年の共演をきっかけに時間をかけて音の便りを交換し合ってきた2人の音楽家による小品集。あらゆる境界の狭間にある情景がここに。ゲストミュージシャンに角銅真実 (voice)をはじめ、2人と親交のあるミュージシャンが参加。トビアス・ヴィルデンと鈴木雄大によるコラボレーション作品が遂に完成。画家・野村佳代のライブペインティングで共演し、2019年『春霞』を発表。トビアス・ヴィルデンのギターやピアノ、チェロで奏でられた繊細でありながらもダイナミックな楽曲に、鈴木雄大がフリューゲルホルンやツィンクなどで穏やかで直感的なメロディーを重ねていくスタイル。さらに角銅真実 (voice)、石川真由子 (flute)、新村隆慶 (violin)がゲスト参加。それぞれが互いの奏でる音に呼吸を合わせ調和をはかりつつも、時間や景色の捉え方の差異が漸進的に曲を展開させていく。揺らぎや歪さを内包した響きとともに、捨象されていく世界の淵源を巡る音楽。
