[Machine Translation] New York's hottest female rock icon, Lissy Truly, has finally released her debut album "Lissy Truly" on <Wichita> with Bloc Party and The Cribs! In 2009, Lissy released her debut EP "Self Tout Learner", which garnered support from many well-known musicians, and she has toured with TV on the Radio, Blondie, The Cribs, and other big names. Her charismatic visuals have also garnered attention from a wide range of audiences here in Japan, including on the cover of Zucca's mook book. This album was produced by David Shetek (TV on the Radio) and John Hill, who has worked with M.I.A., Santigold, and others. Guest artists include Jaleel Bunton of TV on the Radio, Holly Miranda of <XL Recordings>, and Robert Ackroyd, guitarist for Florence and the Machine! The world falls in love with Lissie again on this album, which is a complete change from the energetic rock 'n' roll of her debut EP, and a surprising deepening of Lissie's vocals, musicianship, and production.
