The nuns are surprised to find that Etsuko, who has come from Tokyo, is a rockabilly-style tomboy, and that she is with her college boyfriend Akio. Akio had been a part-time bartender at a bar, but his affair with the madam there had caught Etsuko off guard, and she had dragged him there to cool off and write her graduation thesis. Akio was shocked by the beauty of the young nun who gave him a bath, Shomyo nun. She is a candidate to be the next head of the hermitage and is currently attending a prefectural university. [小林旭 デビュー65周年記念 日活DVDシリーズ] 再発廉価タイトル&初ディスク化作品を併せてマイトガイ・小林旭の歴史を辿る計22作品! 二人の都会の男女学生が、浮世離れた尼寺を訪れ大学に通う美しい尼さんとの友情を通じて青春の尊さを知るという諷刺篇。――こんもりと生い茂る杉林の奥にひっそりと古びた尼寺「明秀庵」が建っている。木魚の音がのんびり響くこの寺に、庵主昌光尼の姪御の悦子が慌ただしく駆け込んできた。東京からやってきた悦子はロッカビリー風のお転婆娘で、彼女が同じ大学のボーイフレンド昭夫と一緒だったことに昌光尼たちはびっくり仰天。昭夫はアルバイトにバーのバーテンをやっていたが、そこのマダムとの浮気が悦子の逆鱗にふれ、頭を冷やすためと卒論を書くためとで、強引に引っぱって来られたのである。お風呂を焚いてくれた若い尼さん、昌妙尼の美しさに昭夫はショックを受けた。昌妙尼は次代の庵主候補で、目下県立大学へ通学中である。卒論書きの合間に、昭夫は彼女に英語を教えたりして親しくなるが・・・。初DVD化(HDリマスター)、ピクチャーディスク仕様(予定)。
