ジャズ・ヴォーカリスト南部のぶこセカンド・アルバム。前作はスタンダードを中心とした内容だったが、今回は日本の唱歌・童謡・古い歌をジャズにアレンジ。ジャズにアレンジすると、例えば音の切り方が変わり、原曲とは変化する。お馴染みの楽曲が、まったく新しい感覚で生まれ変わる。編曲は、前作に続いて、名ギタリストの成川修士が手掛けた。
