Chonmage Purin (English Subtitles) [Limited Edition]

DVD release of Japanese movie "Chonmage Purin" starring Ryo Nishikido who is a member of two Johnny's groups NEWS and KANJANI8 (Kanjani Eight). Directed by Yoshihiro Nakamura of "The Glory of Team Batista." Plot: Hiroko Yusa is a single parent and struggles with raising her son Tomoya and working at the same time. One day, she meets a real samurai from the Edo period named Yasube Kijima who travels through time somehow to arrive in present day Japan. Yasube ends up working for Hiroko as a housemaid in return for food and lodging. He starts to make sweets for Tomoya, which leads to him become a popular patissier. The three gradually become very close, however time to say good bye also draws near. . . Limited edition includes a bonus disc with visual commentary by Nishikido, Tomosaka, Fuku, and the director, making-of, confectionery making lesson by Yasube, interview with the director, event footage, and more. Also includes a postcard set, an original charm, and a card (all details are subject to change).
