An omnibus of short stories selected from Kawabata Yasunari's early short story collection, "Italian Song," "Musume Gokoro," "Sisters of Asakusa," and "Yumei Shojo," and adapted by students of the Graduate School of Film and New Media, Tokyo University of the Arts, and released theatrically at Euro Space in February 2008. This is a retrospective film that takes "Onna-gokoro" (female mind) as a hint to unravel Japan around 1935 and the lives of the women who lived there.
