[Machine Translation] This is the first album after 11 years since the last one, featuring songs that have been written since "Colony" in 2011 and have already been a regular part of their live performances. The album was produced by Eiko Ishibashi and mixed and mastered by Jim O'Rourke, and was recorded in October 2021 at "Hoshi to Niji Studio" in Kobuchizawa, Yamanashi, with Foothi playing vocals, Ishibashi on piano and drums, and O'Rourke on bass. Ishibashi then added vocals, organ, synths, and various other sounds to complete the album. Foothill's songwriting has been changing little by little. Ishibashi made the most of the "songs" and arranged them in a unique approach different from the past sound sources and live performances to create a new sound image. Enigmatic but communicative, full but empty, serious but funny... something similar but something different. This is such an SSW album.

前作より実に11年ぶりとなるアルバム。2011年の「コロニー」以降に書きためられ、既にライブでは定番となっている楽曲を収録。アルバムプロデュースは石橋英子、ミックスとマスタリングはジム・オルークが担当した。2021年10月に山梨県小淵沢にある"星と虹スタジオ"にて麓の弾き語り、石橋のピアノとドラム、オルークのベースによるベーシック録音が行われた。その後、石橋の手によってボーカル、オルガン、シンセなど様々なサウンドが加えられて本作は完成した。少しずつ変化を遂げてきた麓のソングライティング。石橋はその"歌"を最大限に生かしつつも、過去の音源やライブとは異なる独自のアプローチによるアレンジを施し、新たな音像を作り出した。謎めいているけど通じてる、溢れているけど虚ろ、シリアスだけどファニー・・・ 何かに似ているようで何かが違っている。そんなSSWアルバム。
