[Machine Translation] Chinese biwa virtuoso Gao Hong continues his new creative endeavor following his previous work "House of Friendship" with Senegalese kora player Cadiarie Kouyate. This time, he had the opportunity to record at Abbey Road Studios and collaborate with flamenco guitarist Ignacio Luzaldi Monteverde. We worked out the rough ideas and patterns a few days before recording, and together we traveled from the dynasties of ancient Asia to Andalusia via the Thar Desert, where Eastern and Western cultures meet, harmonize, and fuse. Ignacio's structured flamenco guitar playing blends with Gao's Chinese improvisations to create a free and expansive musical celebration of diverse cultures coming together.

中国琵琶の名手ガオ・ホンが、セネガルのコラ奏者カディアリー・クヤテと共演した前作『ハウス・オブ・フレンドシップ』に続き、新たな創作活動に挑む。アビーロード・スタジオでのレコーディングの機会を得た今回はフラメンコ・ギター奏者のイグナシオ・ルサルディ・モンテベルデとのコラボレーション作品。レコーディングの数日前に大まかなアイデアとパターンを練り上げ、古代アジアの王朝からタール砂漠を経由してアンダルシアに至るまで、東洋と西洋の文化が出会い、調和し、融合するよう共に旅をした。イグナシオの構築的なフラメンコ・ギター演奏と、ガオの中国的な即興演奏が混ざりって、多様な文化が一体となり、自由で伸びやかな音楽的祝祭感を生み出している。
