1970年代の日本のフォークシーンを支えた杉田二郎、堀内孝雄、ばんばひろふみ、高山厳、因幡晃の5人で結成されたスペシャルユニットブラザーズ5。「自分たちと同世代のお客様と懐かしい青春時代の歌を共有し、歳はとったが気持ちは変わっていないことをお互いに再認識したい。」とのコンセプトで昨年よりライブ活動を開始、そして今回のアルバムが誕生した。昨年リリースしたシングル曲を含め全13曲を収録。1960年～70年代を中心とした国内外の名曲をカバー。外国曲8曲と国内曲5曲。ボブディランが歌った有名な反戦歌「風に吹かれて」から日本の美しいフォークソング「この広い野原いっぱい」まで幅広い選曲となっている。それぞれがソロシンガーとしての実績を持つだけに5人分の歌の魅力を堪能できるアルバム。
