ポスト・セルフ / ゴッドフレッシュ
インダストリアル・メタルの始祖ゴッドフレッシュ。2012年と2015年の来日公演を挟み、『ディクライン・アンド・フォールEP』『ザ・ワールド・リット・オンリー・バイ・ファイア』 (共に2014年)から3年振りとなる作品。今回のアルバムはジャスティン自身が"かなり違う"というある種の"問題作"。正にゴッドフレッシュというべき冷徹マシーン・ビートとヘヴィネスが唸る曲、JK・フレッシュやテクノ・アニマルのように蹂躙ビートに重きを置いたもの、イェスーのように美しいサウンドスケープのギターを聴かせるもの、ファイナルのように内省的なソロ/孤独を聴かせるものと幅広い。これまでのようにサウンドによって名義を分けるのではなく、全てのスタイルをゴッドフレッシュに集約した印象。ジャスティンの本気度が伺える。
