長らく原盤が行方不明だったため再上映の機会がなかった若松孝二幻の監督作であり、根津甚八が自身のフィルモグラフィーから一時期抹消していた幻のデビュー作が超待望の初ソフト化! オリジナルネガより制作したHDニューマスター版。――ある港町の片隅、美人で評判の佳代がやっている飲み屋は彼女目当ての客でいつもにぎわっている。佳代は三年前から、市会議員の村上と深い仲になっていた。ある日、若い男女 ジュンとヨーコが町へやってくる。二人は何処かへ密航しようと考えているが、誰からも相手にされない。疲れ切った二人はたまたま佳代の店にやってくる。やがて明らかになる佳代の過去と昔の男、そして、ジュンとヨーコの自暴自棄な行動、物語は破滅に向かって進んでいく・・・。プレスシート縮尺再編集版 封入(予定)。
