On drums is Mark Walker, a Berklee College of Music lecturer and Chicago resident who has performed around the world with Latin jazz great Paquito Delibera and others; on bass is Mark Tourian, who has played with Joe Henderson, Terumasa Hino, Dave Liebman, and others; and on piano are Sonny Stito, Brian Blade, and Joe Robardson. The album features the title track, which is the largest piece in the trilogy at over 10 minutes, as well as Sasajima's original compositions and light bop tunes such as "Donna Lee". The result is a work that will keep you listening to it all the way through.

渡米40年のジャズギターリストAkio Sasajimaが、旧友Randy Breckerとのクインテットにより録音された本作は、ジャズファンを納得させる必聴のストレートアヘッドジャズアルバム。ドラムにバークリー音楽大学講師で、ラテンジャズの巨匠パキート・デリベラなどと世界各地で活躍するシカゴ在住のMark Walker、ベースにジョー・ヘンダーソン、日野皓正、デイヴ・リーブマン等と共演するMark Tourian、ピアノにはソニー・スティト、ブライアン・ブレード、ジョー・ロバーノ等の無数のバンドで活動しているNY在住のDavid Berkmanを起用。3部作の10分を超える大作であるタイトル曲ほかSasajimaのオリジナル曲とDonna Leeなど軽快なバップチューンも交えて緊張感の中、一気に最後まで聞き込んでしまう作品に仕上がっている。
