Blu-ray release of the film "The Woodsman and the Rain (Kitsutsuki to Ame)" directed by Shuichi Okita. Stars Koji Yakusho and Shun Oguri. The film won the Best Screenplay and Editing, and Yakusho won the The Best Actor award at Dubai International Film Festival in 2011. Plot: Set in a small mountain village, the villagers are eventually enlisted to help to make a zombie movie, and 60-year-old lumberjack Katsuhiko also helps against his will. However he has a tough time with assertive and incapable young staffs, and the young director cannot control the situation at all. At first, the two stay well away from each other, but gradually get along with and create a weird collaboration between film staffs and villagers before anyone knows. . . Comes with a bonus DVD with making-of, teaser, unreleased scenes, event footage, and trailer for the film "UTOPIA." Also includes script for the film "UTOPIA" featuring the director Koichi Tanabe's autograph, a B5-size flyer of "UTOPIA," short novel "Tanabe Koichi no Satsuei Nikki" (subject to change), and a booklet. *The DVD disc is encoded for region 2 (Japan, Europe, and Middle East), and no subtitles are included.
