前向きなメッセージと感情を揺さぶられるメロディーPELICAN FANCLUBの「今」が詰まった3rd Mini Album完成!前作『PELICAN FANCLUB』がタワレコメンに選出、数々の雑誌で取り上げられ、「UKFC on the Road」「スペースシャワー列伝」「SAKAE SP-RING」「MINAMI WHEEL」など、各地イベントに出演。11月にはワンマンライブを満員の渋谷WWWで成功させるなど、今後の活動から目が離せない彼らの3rd Mini Album『OK BALLADE』が完成しました。「今歌うこの声が今歌うこの歌だ/今生きるこの身体/今ですら過去になる」(M8「今歌うこの声が」)今歌うこの声を聞いて欲しい、今ですら過去になると、瞬間瞬間を大事にして欲しいと歌う、今作。当たり前だと思って過ごしている日々の瞬間が、本当に尊い今だと言う事を知ってはいるけれど、忘れてしまう。明日もこの日常が繋がっている保証はどこにも無く、過去の思い出も未来の希望も今作られるものだと言う事。VoGtエンドウアンリが、"何となく過ごす怖さ"に気付いた事で”瞬間瞬間を気付かせる”為に、今が大事だと君と共有したい、お互い気付き合いたいというメッセージを込めてアルバムを作りました。前作までのトリッキーな歌詞、視覚と聴覚を乖離させる仕掛けは影をひそめ、人に寄り添いたい、言いたい事を伝えようと、シンプルな単語で綴られた、自然とストレートなものになりました。メンバー各人それぞれの解釈をフレーズに落とし込み、より、歌詞を届かせたい・生き生きと聞かせたいという思いを込めてレコーディング。今作はバリエーション豊かな楽曲が揃い、バンドの「今」をストレートに表現した作品になりました。大事な事は「今」「瞬間」です。PELICAN FANCLUBと、この今を共有してください。
