山中紀昌率いるスーパー・ユニット「MANTA」の進化し続ける電脳波サウンド・第4弾!ジャンルを超えたMANTAワールドへ、TAKE OFF!!MANTAは、なんと20年余りの作曲、アレンジのキャリアを持ち、CM、映画、ゲーム音楽というジャンルでも活躍する山中紀昌氏率いる、テクノ系ユニット。メンバーは、3人編成で、ゲーム音楽の作詞家としても活躍するMIQUI、NYに7年間在住し、ラップ、ダンスを担当するB.Bとなっている。2006年9月に催したワンマン ライブ(L@N AKASAKA)では、昨年同様満員のオーディエンスに、超轟音の世界を満喫させ、 初期の作品から、そして新曲までその全てを披露した今回のステージでは様々な趣向が凝らされていた。 ゲストアーチストにはTVアニメ「ドラゴンボールZ」の主題歌でその歌声が全国的に知れ渡る影山ヒロノブ氏が登場、あの【CHA-LA HEAD-CHA-LA】をライブで聴かせることとなった(全員大満足!)。その他ゲストとして、元ボクシング世界チャンピョンの渡嘉敷勝男氏もステージに飛び入り参加。MANTAの人脈、キャリア、そのサウンドの実力が、一筋縄では計り知れないこと証明した。
