Very promising release from first-time full-length releaser, IVAN. Since the album is completely produced by Hakuei ((of the Penicillin fame)), I expected alot of up-beat rock music, but instead found ballads and mid-tempo tracks to be standard. However, this doesn't take away from the album's quality at all, and actually manages to showcase IVAN's versatile and unique raspy vocals to their best extent. Also, there's a bit of Japanese, English and even Spanish present on this album, which makes for a very interesting listen! I recommend it to even a casual rock fan, or someone in need of something new with a funky twist.
