He studied jazz in parallel with his major, and completed the performance application course at the same time as graduating from Kunitachi College of Music. He won 9th place at the 43rd Yamano Big Band Jazz Contest. While still in school, he passed an audition for the Brillante Wind Ensemble. He is active in all genres of jazz, classical, pops, and rock music, as well as in support, recording, lessons, and live performances. Studied classical saxophone under Masato Kumoi, Miki Sone, and Hiroyuki Matsui. Studied jazz saxophone under Atsushi Ikeda. Studied jazz ensemble under Yosuke Yamashita and Ken Kaneko. Studied jazz theory under Takao Ogawa.

MIKIとサウンドマリアージュ。わたし色に染まれ!MIKIの見た目からは想像できない、スモーキーなオヤジサウンドはとにかくギャップ萌え!!10曲中8曲のオリジナル曲は、ジャンルにとらわれない、まさに音の遊園地!MIKIワールドをお楽しみ下さい!■PROFILE新郎はジャズ 愛人はサックス1990年9月30日生まれ。3歳からピアノを始める。13歳、吹奏楽部でサクソフォーンを始める。15歳、昭和楽器主催、第9回管打楽器ソロ・デュオコンテストで金賞。昭和楽器賞(1位)を受賞。埼玉県立大宮光陵高等学校音楽科サクソフォーン専攻卒業。国立音楽大学音楽学部演奏学科弦管打楽器専修に入学。同大学の演奏応用コース(ジャズコース)に合格。専攻と並行してジャズを学び、同音楽大学卒業と並行して演奏応用コースを修了。第43回山野ビッグバンドジャズコンテストにて9位入賞。在学中に、ブリランテウインドアンサンブルのオーディションに合格。ジャズ、クラシック、ポップス、ロックなど、オールジャンルに対応すると共に、サポート、レコーディング、レッスン、ライブと幅広く活動を展開中。クラシックサクソフォーンを雲井雅人、曽根美紀、松井宏幸の各氏に師事。ジャズサクソフォーンを池田篤氏に師事。ジャズアンサンブルを山下洋輔氏、金子健氏の各氏に師事。ジャズ理論を小川高生氏に師事。
