The fourth track, "Night and Day," and the fifth track, "Our Love is Here to Stay," are standards with Japanese lyrics written by Rie Oguchi herself. 時を紡いで演奏され続けて来たジャズスタンダード曲集。暖かい気持ちに溢れるデュオサウンドで、時代を現代、未来へとつなげていく。ジャズボーカリスト兼アルトサックス奏者小口理英のマルチプルプレーを活かした意欲作。デュオ作品でありながら、現代録音手法のオーバーダブを活かし、自らが歌うバックに自身のサックスの音を入れた。インストルメンタルのみの曲4曲に加え、ボーカルの入った3曲を収録。古き良き時代のデュオスイングジャズの良さを再現しながらも、今日のレストラン、カフェで流しても違和感のない現代的なアレンジ作品。1枚のアルバムでアルトサックスによるインストジャズと歌声の入った曲をバランスよく散りばめたデュオ演奏アルバム。カフェでジャズが流れる時代、多くの人々に親しんでもらえるよう、聴き馴染みのあるスタンダードジャズをカバーしている。4曲目 Night and Dayと5曲目 Our Love is Here To Stay は小口理英自身による日本語作詞のスタンダードを収録。全曲の随所で島末幸子の珠玉のピアノの音が光る。<プロフィール>小口理英(おぐちりえ サックス、ボーカル)現役医師兼ミュージシャン。バークリー音楽大学卒業。 2016年 音楽、医業ともにフリーランスとして独立。同年1st Album「Beyond to CINEMA / The First Episode」を自らプロデュースし、発売。「ミス・ユニバースJAPAN岐阜大会」決勝、準決勝のopening act として演奏 島末幸子(しますえさちこ ピアノ)洗足学園音楽大学ではジャズピアノをユキ・アリマサ氏に師事 音楽理論を香取良彦氏・アンサンブルを佐藤達也氏・原朋直氏・水谷浩章氏に師事。 2013年 vocal Makikoと共作 オリジナル1st アルバム「close friend] を発売 2015年 ピアノソロ・スタンダードジャズアルバム「Gurf Stream」を発売 2016年 声優松本さち・声優河原木志穂とのユニット Matsu-Ragi-Sue 1stシングルCD「星の記憶」発売
