PIA 15 years

[Machine Translation] PIA has won numerous major festivals and music awards, and has been a hit not only with fans but also with industry insiders. In 2003, PIA performed as the opening act for LINKIN PARK's Korea tour. The following year, PIA accompanied LINKIN PARK on their Hong Kong and Singapore tours, making their name known throughout Asia. In 2012, they won the "TOP BAND 2," a band survival program broadcast on the public broadcaster KBS2, out of more than 600 bands, and became the pinnacle of the Korean rock scene in both name and reality. In addition to their Japan tour, they will be touring with HEY-SMITH in Japan and Korea.

結成後間も無く、韓国の巨大ロックメジャーレーベル「SEOTAIJI COMPANY」に所属し、数々の大型フェスティバルや音楽賞を総なめにし、ファンのみならず業界関係者をも唸らせてきたバンドPIA(ピア)。2003年にはLINKIN PARKの韓国公演のオープニングアクトとして出演。その好アクトを認められ、翌年にはLINKIN PARKの香港・シンガポールツアーに同行し、その名をアジアに知らしめた。その後、精力的な活動により国内での地位を磐石のものとした彼ら。2012年には、公営放送KBS2で放送されたバンドサバイバルプログラム「TOP BAND 2」にて600を超える出演バンドの中、見事優勝を飾り、名実ともに韓国ロックシーンの頂点となる。今回の日本進出にあたり、日本のHEY-SMITHとの日韓カップリングツアーが決定している。
