今年で結成12年目に突入した、ロックンロールの王道を行くリスキードライヴの4作目となるフルアルバム。この12年で積み上げてきたものは大きくあらゆる方面で高い評価を得ている。定期的に関東ではライブを行い、テレビ出演、映画の挿入歌、また、大槻ケンヂ(筋肉少女帯)、大矢侑史(SHADY DOLLS)市川"JAMES"洋二(THE STREET SLIDERS)、田中一郎(ARB/甲斐バンド)、中山加奈子(プリンセスプリンセス)、柴山俊之(サンハウス)、横道坊主などとも競演を果たし、昨年他界した忌野清志郎追悼ライブにも出演。一昨年、昨年と九州～名古屋とツアーも行い着実にファンを増やしている。ブルージーで音は和製ローリングストーンズ、歌詞はボブディランを彷彿させるようなロックンロールバンドである。音楽評論家の鳥井賀句は「リスキードライヴの歌詞は文学的である」と絶賛している。そんなリスキードライヴの4作目とこのアルバムは1作目～3作目とは全く違う形でアコースティックを基盤とした楽曲ばかりを集めている。(1)「ガラクタ」はリスキーらしいロックンロール調の曲でオープニングにはふさわしい曲です。(2)「I JUST WANDER」ではジプシー的な匂いのするマイナーコードの勢いのある曲です(3)「九月末に吹く風」はジャングルビートを取り入れた哀愁漂う曲です。(4)「雨の日のブランコ」12弦ギターとハープが切なく懐かしい響きを奏でて曲を盛り立てています。「やっていけるさ」リスキー結成当時から歌われている曲でファンの間では人気の高い曲。遂に収録です。(6)「朋友に捧げる歌」はマンドリンやアコーデオンといった楽器と短編小説的な詩でその世界を広げています。(7)「To My Dear Girl Friend」アコースティック12弦が温かく曲を奏でます。哀愁の漂う曲です。(8)「土砂降りの雨に打たれて」ファンの間でも人気の高い曲。昭和歌謡的なサウンドで魅了します。(9)「夜明け間近に」3rdアルバムでピアノによる独唱されたの曲をファンの要望もありバンドバージョンで収録。(10)「MOTHER」作詞家の母の死の別れを英詩による弾き語りで収録しました。近年では数少なくなったロックロールバンド。これからも終わる事なく転がり続けて行くはずです。無くしちゃいけないロックンロールがここにあります。
