[Machine Translation] Released in July 2008, LABRET jumped to the forefront of the music scene with sales of approximately 7,000 copies, an unprecedented feat for a newcomer. The band continued to release split albums and mini-albums in tandem with their energetic live performances, but with the dissolution of their label and the departure of their drummer, LABRET, which had been running since its formation in 2005, seemed to have come to a halt by all accounts. However, shortly after that, LABRET welcomed a new drummer and released a self-produced, venue-only single, "Nostalgia," which was followed by a very successful tour that showed the band's ability to keep going on its own. The new LABRET, riding high on momentum, launched INDUSTREAL, released the single "Everlast E.P." for free, hinting at an album release in 2013, and embarked on a 70-performance tour. The small ripples gradually grew like a typhoon, and after distributing 7,000 free copies and finishing the tour, they released their first full-length album in 4 years! The album is a masterpiece, "DETERMINATION", which contains 15 well-calculated songs that have grown up from the melocoa line up until now.

2008年7月にリリースし、新人にしては異例の約7000枚のセールスを叩き出しシーンの最前線に躍り出たLABRET。その後も精力的なライブ活動と平行しスプリットアルバム、ミニアルバムと立て続けに出し続けるが、所属レーベル解散やドラマー脱退により、2005年の結成から走り続けてたLABRETは誰が見ても止まってしまったように見えた。しかしその直後に新ドラマーを迎え、自主制作の会場限定シングル"Nostalgia"をリリース、そのツアーを大成功させその自力を見せつける。勢いに乗った新生LABRETはI N D U S T R E A Lを立ち上げ、2013年にアルバム発売を示唆させる先行シングル"EVERLAST E.P"をなんと無料でリリースし、70本にも及ぶツアーを敢行。小さな波紋が次第に台風の様に大きくなり、その数7000枚を無料配布しツアーを終え、最高の状態で約4年ぶりのフルアルバムをリリース!今までのメロコア一直線から何段階も成長し、計算し尽くされた楽曲を15曲詰め込んだ最高傑作"DETERMINATION"。
