[Machine Translation] POLTA, a behind-the-scenes force in Tokyo's rising POPS scene, has released its first long-awaited album in its seventh year of existence. In 2010, Ai Onae (ex. Forbidden Majority Rule (Vo.), ROCKET K (Gt.)) welcomed Fukuda, who had been a supporting member, as an official member, and now the two-piece POLTA is active mainly in Tokyo. Each of them writes lyrics and composes music, and they are creating music everyday that includes memories of the lives of people at the bottom of the school caste. Onae's crystal-clear vocals, the two's pop and ear-catching sounds, and the lyrics that describe their own personal lives have made their You Tube upload of "I want to go far away" more than 50,000 views by word of mouth, even though they have not released a CD yet. The number is being updated every day. They have been performing at events and festivals mainly in Tokyo, and were the main act at "JapAniManga Night" held in Switzerland. Another version of the song "I want to go far away" has been airing as the opening theme for NHK E-television Kokoro-bu since April 2015. The short version of M1 "Touku e Ikitai no" ("I want to go far away") "Touku e Ikitai" ("I can't go far away") has been chosen as the opening theme for NHK E-television's "Kokoro bu! 今、人気上昇の東京POPSシーンの縁の下の力持ちPOLTAが、結成7年目にして、初となる待望の音源をリリース。1曲目の遠くに行きたいは、YOUTUBE再生回数5万回以上、日々更新中。Vo.尾苗の透き通った声と媚びないPOPなサウンドに中毒者続出中。2008年に結成。2010年、尾苗愛(ex.禁断の多数決(Vo.)、ROCKET K(Gt.))がサポートメンバーだったふくだを正式メンバーに迎え、現在2人編成のPOLTA、東京を中心に活動中。それぞれが作詞・作曲を担当し、スクールカースト最下層の人たちの人生を思い出までひっくるめて労う音楽を日々作成している。尾苗の透き通ったボーカルと、2人がそれぞれ作るPOPで耳に残るサウンド、等身大の日常を綴った歌詞にCDリリースをしていないにもかかわらず、You Tubeにアップした「遠くへ行きたい」は口コミで拡散され、5万回再生を超えた。日々数字を更新中。ライブは都内を中心にイベント・フェスで活動する中、スイスで開催された「JapAniManga Night」でメインアクトを務め、その実力を発揮している。また、収録曲「遠くへ行きたい」の別バージョンはNHK Eテレ ココロ部のオープニングテーマとして2015年4月よりOA中。今回MIXエンジニアに柏井日向さんを迎え、さらにPOLTAのPOPSを余す事なく発揮した作品となった。M1 「遠くへ行きたいの」のショートバージョン「遠くへ行けない」がNHK Eテレ「ココロ部!」のオープニングテーマに決定。2015年4月よりOA中。
