東海エリアから新人アーティストを発掘するオーディション「中京テレビ・ミュージックアワード」で、応募総数162組の中からグランプリに選ばれた楽曲。中京テレビ「PS三世」6、7月エンディング曲、「キャッチ!」6、7月お天気コーナーBGM、「ゴリ夢中」7月エンディング曲としてOAされている。素朴なピアノと語るような歌。寺岡呼人氏が「今のJ-POPの中にはない個性がある」と絶賛。JUN SKY WALKER(S)ベーシストであり、『ゆず』、『植村花菜』らのプロデューサーとしても名高い寺岡呼人氏がサウンドプロデュースを手掛ける。ストリングスアレンジにはスギテツの杉浦哲郎氏が参加。また、ジャケットには中京テレビ「ゴリ夢中」で東海エリアを旅するガレッジセール・ゴリさんの写真を使用している。1984年7月23日山口県生まれ。北海道大学に入学し、哲学を専攻。この頃から音楽活動を開始し、独学でピアノをはじめる。在学中にもかかわらず、多い時は月に10本以上のライブを行い、東京、大阪、名古屋等、北海道外でツアーも行っていた。卒業後は東京に移住。石川浩司(ex.たま/パスカルズ)、関島岳郎(栗コーダーカルテット)らとの共演を通し、バンド、デュオ等さまざまな活動スタイルに幅を広げる。結婚を機に東海エリアに移り住んでおよそ2年。
