[Machine Translation] FILTER" is a 5 piece band consisting of ex.BARK / ex.COUNTRY YARD / ex.GLEEP members who had been active in the indies scene until 2011, and Hikaru Imada, who is the only red key Vo. This work [invitation to color] starts with a grand harp glissando that is released the moment it is played, adding color to FILTER's world view. M-4 [Proof], a popular song from the previous album [4songs e.p.] [Nostalgic], was followed by an up-tempo song in Japanese. This is an up-tempo number in Japanese from the flow of [Nostalgic], a popular song from the previous album [4songs e.p.]. M-5 [Drama] is a medium ballad with a scenic worldview and conversational lyrics that can only be achieved by a duet. The album title "invitatation to color" is an invitation to the completely original color of FILTER, as the album title suggests. The recording was done at ORPHEUS part2, a long-established studio in Kashiwa that has been used by kamomekamome / buddhistson / aie and other bands in the past. The drum tuning was done by Masashi Shimada, drummer of kamomekamome / buddhistson. The album also features a grand harp as a guest artist, and its contents are so voluminous that it is hard to believe that it is a mini-album by a new artist.

2011年それまでインディーズシーンで活躍していたex.BARK / ex.COUNTRY YARD / ex.GLEEPのメンバー+紅一点のkeyVo今田ひかるからなる5ピースバンド『FILTER』の音源を取扱開始!今作[invitation to color]は再生した瞬間放たれるグランドハープのグリッサンドから始まりFILTERの世界観に色を添える、そのまま十八番である冒頭の男女デュエット曲M-1[Serenade]M-2[Shine]とライブでも定番の流れで進んで行きM-3 ゆったりとしたストリングス&リバービーなDrが印象的なスローバラード[Hymn with orchestra under the stars]ではバンドとしての振り幅の広さを伺わせる。M-4 [Proof]では前作[4songs e.p]での人気曲[Nostalgic]の流れから日本語でのアップテンポナンバー。そしてM-5 [Drama]は情景的な世界観とデュエットであるからこそ出来る会話のような歌詞で締めくくるミディアムバラード。今のFILTERでしかなし得ないメロコアでもemoでもないバランスで成り立った曲達で彩られた[invitatation to color]はアルバムタイトルの通りFILTERという完全オリジナルな色への招待状代わりなのである。今回のレコーディングにはkamomekamome / buddhistson / aieといった歴代のバンドが使用している柏の老舗スタジオORPHEUS part2にてレコーディング。ドラムチューニングにkamomekamome / buddhistsonのドラマーである嶌田政司の協力を依頼。またゲストアーティストにグランドハープを起用するなど新人アーティストのミニアルバムとは思えないボリューミーな内容となっている。
