[角川シネマコレクション2016年 8月度: 原節子特集] 愛する女は恋敵の腕に抱かれた―― 二人の男の愛情の間に青春の1ページを苦悶する女性。――津島製紙工場は高原の湖畔の町にあった。昭和6年――工場長の津島東三と女工・森しづ江は、東京で催される展覧会に行くことになった。展覧会が終わった夜、しづ江は同郷の能代という男と相思相愛の間柄にもかかわらず、津島と関係を持ってしまった。工場に帰ったしづ江は悩み続けた。津島と能代、二人の男の幻は、しづ江の胸の中でからみあうのだった・・・。
