主演はNHK朝ドラ「あさが来た」のヒロイン、幅広い層から支持を集める今最も注目の女優・波瑠。入江甚儀、葉山奨之、黒島結菜など注目の若手俳優出演で描く感動の恋愛傑作映画。原作は「半分の月がのぼる空」稀代の作家・橋本紡。――本山奈緒子(波瑠)は、かつての恋人・加地径一郎(葉山奨之)の事故死の影響から、玄関でしか眠れなくなってしまった。流れる時間の中、いまでは新しく付き合っている恋人・川嶋巧(入江甚儀)との日常が、奈緒子にはあった。加地の親友であった巧と奈緒子にとって、この現実は加地に対する裏切りだと感じ、自分を責めていた。二人の時計の針は止まったまま・・・。ある日、奈緒子の父・本山諒(小市慢太郎)が突然東京にやってきた。本山の転勤を機に家族は大分に引っ越し、奈緒子は東京で一人暮らしをしていた。「家出をしてきた」という父との二人暮らしが始まる。奈緒子、巧、本山の時間がゆるやかに動き始める。やがて、妹の本山絵里(黒島結菜)が加わり、それぞれが抱える問題が次第に明らかになっていく。「動いてこそ見えてくるものがある」―それは、加地がよく口にしていた言葉。かけがえのない存在が、この世に残していった言葉。奈緒子たちの心に変化がもたらされようとしていた。悲しみは、きっといつか勇気に変わる―。
