Truly an amazing Zelda game. I have been putting many hours into it and I am constantly impressed. Triforce of the Gods 2 (TG2) is set in the same universe as its' predecessor, with a ton of updates. The story consists of the hero Link (player) saving Hyrule from the evil of Yuga. Link has a lot of work to do in this game. This involves exploring the over world, gather items, heart containers, exploring dungeons, battling enemies and saving Sages and princesses. The presentation and graphics are wonderful. From the start at the title screen the game is captivating. How the story unfolds is pretty Zelda but it does have a few big twists. TG2 adds a new feature that really makes this Zelda different from others. Link gains the ability to become one with the background, as a painting. Nintendo does a great job at utilizing this feature when it comes to puzzle solving, exploring, and gathering. The amount the dungeons as well as the variety within each dungeon is just incredible. Each dungeon has its own unique puzzles, boss battles new and old, as well as themes. The amount of dungeons in this game is great, a total of 12. I have not played a Zelda game that includes that much since Ocarina of Time. If you want to take time outside of the main story there is plenty to do. Great mini-games and some side quests both for fun and to help enhance your abilities during your quests. StreetPass is great. The Shadow Link battles are great and can be a great challenge. You make a Shadow Link in your file and then it is distributed to other players. You also receive their Shadow Links. The Shadow Links can be found all over the two worlds. When you meet certain requirements you receive medals. There are 50 and if you collect them all you get a special surprise. I hope Nintendo releases the soundtrack to this game. Great remixes and new original music. As a music buff love listening to it. Nintendo has produced a Zelda game that has possibly become my new favorite title. The handheld Zelda games have been my favorites and this is a great addition. Go buy yourself a copy!
