Gackt's ready to make his return to music, and to commemorate it's time for a stunnin live CD box set with nearly nine hours of music! Starting his solo career in 1999, Gackt set out on his first tour in 2000 in support of the album "Mars." In 2005 he celebrated his first performance at Tokyo Dome with an intriguing performance marked by man-made rain, live horss, and more! Always looking to awe, Gackt makes sure his concerts are something that needs to be experienced. Box set includes 13 CDs in the new High Quality CD format (subject to change), 1 DVD, deluxe box, and miniature replicas of the tour pamphlets. CDs include "Gackt Live Tour 2000 MARS - Sora kara no Homonsha," "Gackt Live Tour 2001 Requiem et Reminiscence - Shuen to Seijaku," "Gackt Live Tour 2002 Kagen no Tsuki - Seiya no Shirabe," "Gackt Live Tour 2003 Jogen no Tsuki Saishusho," "Gackt Live Tour 2004 The Sixth Day & Seventh Night - Final," "Gackt Live Tour 2005 12.24 Diablos - Aien no Uta to Seiya no Namida," and "Gackt Training Days 2006 Drug Party." A gem 5

A Gackt fan must have!
If you somehow find a copy of this, don't think twice and just get it. It's an amazing boxset of high quality. The booklets are all nicely done in beautifully textured paper. The images in them are breath-taking. It was pricey but I have no regrets!

Breath Taking! Truelly epic. 5

This is amazing! I'm very very happy to have bought it. The sound quality is amazing, the box is sturdy, the cd cases and really well made and sturdy, and the mini booklets are beautiful, clear and a good quality. :3 I love this! Very much worth the money, it's like I can close my eyes and feel like I'm at his concerts.
His live singing is truelly captivating, and has a different energy that studio recordings. Plus hearing the audience scream out his name always gives me chills. :D

A Brilliant Live CD Box Set 5

Very few musicians can captivate an audience like Gackt can. With his powerful vocals and stunning performances, it's no suprise he's so popular in and out of Japan. This box set, which includes 13 CD's of live music and a DVD filled with laughs and unreleased music, is one to treasure. The music is, of course, beautiful and is the best of quality. Ranging from his MARS concert all the way to DruG Party, the set commemorates nearly 10 years of musical bliss. Highly recommended for those who enjoy Gackt's live works.

EXCELLENT collection of live music!!! 5

One of the BIGGEST collection for music on my shelves is Gackt's nine*nine! I love live tracks, there is SO much more energy to music when it is performed live than in studio!!! Gackt's live performances is definitely full of energy! There are 13 cds & 1 dvd of live performance! Gackt is one of my favourite artists! AWESOME cd & dvd collection set!!!

Gackt always releases beautiful limited edition items, so I am very excited about this item. They are always worth the price.

I am wondering if the Drug Party performance is the same one he released on Itunes (because I have that already). I'll order it either way!!

Region 0 DVD Pre Release Comment

I'm looking forward to this! Every performance included in the boxed-set was absolutely amazing.
It's never been mentioned on CDJAPAN before, so I thought I should point out that,to date, all of Gackt's DVD releases have actually been in region 0, so they can be played on any DVD player. Obviously there's no way to be sure this release will be the same, but that has definitely been his policy for everything so far. Hopefully those of you who were worried about not being able to play the DVD on your players can rest assured.

When you have to pay is a question of your paying method. For me, I am paying with my creditcards, so I have to pay AFTER item is shipped. normaly with my next bill, but sometimes even one later, if it is very close to another.
But for a friend of mine, she is paying with paypal and so has to pay when placing the order, for cd-japan couldn't be sure, you're going to pay else ^,^"

I want this!!! Pre Release Comment

I thought I'd faint as I first heard of Gackts new release! OMG! I want this!

I'm totally new to cdjapan and its the first time I want to order from overseas. can somebody tell me when do i have to pay, since I would preorder this? Do I have to send the money first and only then the item will be shipped?
Sorry if I sound kinda stupid.

DVD

There are 6 region codes. Typically, DVD players sold in one region is compatible only with DVD titles that are encoded for that region.

Region 1 US and Canada

Blu-ray

Blu-ray titles are playable only on Blu-ray players. They are not playable on conventional DVD players or HD DVD players. There are 3 region codes for Blu-rays as listed below, which are different from DVD region codes.

DVD-Audios are playable only on DVD-Audio players and DVD players that are compatible with DVD-Audios (to find out for sure, consult the manual of your DVD player, or look for DVD-Audio logo). DVD-Audios are not playable on regular DVD players or CD players.

SACD (Super Audio CD)

SACDs are playable only on SACD players, and will not play on regular CD players. On the other hand, SACD Hybrid disc has a layer that is playable also on regular CD payers. Such titles are indicated as "Format: SACD-Hybrid" in item details page.
