歌うために生まれてきた。SHANTI(シャンティ)は、アメリカ人の父と日本人の母とのあいだに生まれた天性のヴォーカリスト。ソウルフルな地声から透明感あふれるファルセットまで、多彩な声質を駆使してオトナの音楽ファンのハートにアピールする表現力の持ち主。音楽のベースはJAZZ。ノラ・ジョーンズのようなフォーキーなライトジャズがSHANTIの立ち位置。今回のアルバムでは、アコースティック楽器によるオーガニックなサウンドづくりに徹し、オリジナル楽曲とカバーをバランス良く収録している。歌唱はすべて英語。
