Okinawa Kumiodori Senshu

[Machine Translation] The first DVD of Okinawan "Kumiodori" registered as an intangible cultural heritage! This time, with the full cooperation of the "Traditional Kumiodori Preservation Society" consisting of performers and chorus members who are holders of Important Intangible Cultural Properties with outstanding skills, only the main part (sawari) of each piece from the introduction of "Kumiodori" is recorded (8 pieces are planned). Subtitles in standard Okinawan are also available since the explanation and chanting (lines and lyrics) of each piece are expressed in Uchinaaguchi (Okinawan dialect). The performance recorded is also rare, especially "Tezui no En" (The Edge of the Water) is very moving. This is the first time that "Kumiodori" has been made available on film, making it a very valuable item.

無形文化遺産に登録された、沖縄の「組踊(くみおどり)」が初のDVD! この度、技量の優れた重要無形文化財保持者である演者・演唱者により構成される「伝統組踊保存会」の全面のご協力を得て、「組踊」の入門から各曲の主要部分(サワリ)部分のみを収録(8曲予定)。各曲解説と唱え(セリフ・詞章)がウチナーグチ(沖縄方言)で表現されている為、標準語での字幕もご用意。収録された演目も珍しく、特に「手水の縁」は大変に感動的な演目。「組踊」は今回が初の映像化となっており、大変に貴重な商品。
