[Machine Translation] The legendary band Emperor's frontman/chief composer Ethan completes his eighth album. The unpredictable maverick has simultaneously released two versions of the same melody-linked album, Metal and Orchestral! This is a limited edition of the metal version of the album. It is a masterpiece influenced by cinema and given a simple and clear title. While his musical journey has often been a revelatory one, the masterful control of rhythm and movement demonstrated throughout shows his work as a songwriter/composer at its most focused and confident. This massive endeavor, which he professes to be one of the most complex projects he has ever undertaken, is a labyrinthine rabbit hole of his own design, and the sheer scale of his ambition is obvious. Completely self-produced and three years in the making, the metal version was mixed by Jens Bogren and both versions were mastered by Tony Lindgren. Tobias Ornes Andersen and Tobias Solbakk also contribute on drums and percussion; Ihsahn's son, Angell Solberg Tveitan, plays additional percussion; and Chris Baum plays violin. The album artwork was created by Ritxi Ostariz, and all promotional photos were taken by Andy Ford.
