I am only giving 4 stars to this cd just because it is not exactly up to the standards of the wonderful ones that followed in Scott Heron's carreer. Still, you get to eavesdrop on an early show with its flaws and its freshness. Some texts might be subpar, like "and the subjects was f...." but overall it's clear that Gil Scott Heron was already a fabulous poet with rhythmic ideas and melodies that would grab you from the inside-out. The sound on this remaster is absolutely great. You feel like you are in the room with the rest of the public.
