Music For Percussion

[Machine Translation] Ryoji Ikeda is a composer and artist who pursues the essential properties of sound itself and its visualization with mathematical precision and thorough aesthetics, and has presented live performances and installations around the world while crossing the realms of sound and visual media. In 2018, Ikeda launched his own label, codex | edition, and the first release, "music for percussion", is now being distributed. In addition to the CD, the set includes liner notes (in English) by Chris Sharp, music director of the Barbican Center in London, and a 96-page booklet containing rare documents from the performances.
